The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.

The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
